A firm with a portfolio of biopharmaceutical company investments needed an Executive Assistant to support the Chairman/CEO. The Chairman/CEO is an influential leader in healthcare and has high expectations and demands of his Executive Assistant. In addition to running the firm he is also involved in multiple philanthropies. His last assistant was with him for 15 years and he needed an assistant who could step into the role with a short learning curve. The Chairman came from a hedge fund background, so we looked at candidates from finance who were accustomed to the high standards and work ethic required. We placed an assistant with a BA from Northeastern University who had worked at a large global investment firm for 13 years as a Senior Associate supporting the Managing Partners.
