Executive Assistant to Executive Director in Boston, MA

A non-profit based in Boston, Massachusetts whose mission is to help fund and support early stage, social enterprises in underserved African villages was  looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director.  This is a small organization with extensive reach and a very young vibrant culture.  After first vetting candidates in Boston, we reached out to a highly intelligent, relatively junior candidate we had recently met in NYC. She had great experience working at an international relations and public policy firm as an Executive Assistant and we thought she would be an excellent fit.  Coincidentally, she was considering a move to Boston for personal reasons so when we reached out about the opportunity, she was excited and also willing to make the move.  She was a 2014 college graduate of a renowned university and had a real interest in helping improve people’s lives in Africa.
